Location

Chesa Orta is in the middle of the village on the main street. The garden extends to the south-west and offers a spectacular view on the Bergün mountains Rugnux, Ela, Radond and Chavagliet. In the summer and in good weather conditions, you will enjoy sunshine in the garden from about 9 am to 6 pm.

Shopping

Bergün has a grocery shop (Volg), a bakery, a kiosk, two gift shops and several farm shops selling local produce (meat, cheese, eggs etc.). All are accessible on foot in a few minutes.

A Coop supermarket is located in the neighbouring village Filisur.

Train station

Chesa Orta is situated about ten minutes on foot from the Bergün train station. Trains to Chur/Zurich and to the Engadine run every hour.

Parking

On arrival, you may park your car outside Chesa Orta for unloading.

Afterwards, you can leave your car in one of several parking lots: the paid parking lot on the square opposite Chesa Orta, and several parking lots outside the village (one of them free of charge).

Activities

Apart from the well-known sledge run, Bergün and its surroundings a wide range of activities such as hiking, museums, tennis and historical cooking classes. Right across the village, easily accessible on foot, there are two small ski lifts suitable for children.
