Bedrooms

During the summer months, Chesa Orta offers more beds than in winter, as not all bedrooms can be heated. (Anyone who likes to sleep in the cold is of course welcome to use an unheated bedroom in winter.)

Some bedrooms contain more than two beds, two rooms are accessible only through other rooms. Family groups therefore have more options than groups requiring single or double rooms. A couple of separate mattresses and two baby beds are also available.

May to September (all bedrooms)

— Family groups: 18 beds
— Single or double rooms: 8 to 13 beds

October to April (bedrooms with heating)

— Family groups: 11 beds
— Single or doubel rooms (including trapped rooms): 6 to 11 beds

Bathrooms

On the upper floor, there are two bathrooms with toilet and shower. On the ground floor, there is one toilet.

For children

Children are very welcome at Chesa Orta. For them, we provide to baby beds, a toilet seat for toddlers, a changing mat (including a rack to for over the bathtub), stuffed teddies, toys and children's books, a rocking horse, plastic plates and bowls and a swing in the garden.

Entertainment

Chesa Orta does not have television. Instead, there are various board games, playing cars, table football and sledges for winter.

Heating

Chesa Orta has always depended on burning wood for heating - with tiled stoves in the living and bedrooms, a wood-burning cooking stove in the kitchen and pellet stoves in the corridors. This is not only ecologically sustainable, but also provides an in-house exercise drill in winter.

Cooking and eating

The kitchen offers a large electric range with an oven and in winter the large wood-burning cooking stove for your culinary adventures. Many appliances ranging from a waffle iron to a raclette stove inspire your cooking, and a dishwasher helps with the aftermath. The kitchen table accommodates ten adults or eight adults and four children.

Next door to the kitchen, the dining room with its tiled stove also accommidates eight to twelve persons.

Garden

During the summer months, the garden provides a quiet space for sunbathing, playing table tennis, using the swing and of course enjoying outdoor meals. Three folding tables, parasols, wicker chairs and the ping pong table may be placed around the garden to suit your needs.

Telephone and Internet

Chesa Orta has a landline phone as well as Wifi coverage in all rooms.
